- Understand the properties of gases that make the balloon float
- Learn about the density of the atmosphere at heights and how it affects friction
- Know different ways that technology is used to capture information from heights
- To see how maths and computer algorithms are used to make predictions
- Be aware of careers in the Space industry
Lesson Outline
You can follow the balloons as they rise through the atmosphere and travel across the skies! What altitude will they reach? Where will the payloads land? WIll we find them?? What will the data tell us about the temperature and pressure our crafts experience? / Gallwch ddilyn y balwnau wrth iddynt godi drwy’r atmosffer a theithio ar draws yr awyr!
