Curriculum Focus
Lesson Outline
We will be joined by technicians and experts who will tell us all about vertical farming, the science behind it, and what makes it sustainable for the environment.
During our time at Farm Urban, teaching will be put into a real-life context through exciting demos, recordings and animated infographics.
The lesson itself will look at how seeds and bulbs grow, identify and name the basic structure of a plant, explore artificial habitats, and include a live dissection of a vertically grown lettuce.
